Hi,
just wanted to thank all who gave me advice on buying my first road bike and to say i am completely smitten. Got a Planet x slpro sram in pearlescent white. Haven't managed to stay off it for the last 5 days. Just an absolute joy to ride. In fact ridden so much that the gears are now misfiring due to cable stretch so will have to teach myself how to sort them out. Taking time to get used to the relatively stretched out position and impact on braking. I have small hand and now wondering if they are a bit weak but more miles on the bike should sort that out.
anyway, anyone hesitating just jump in.
cheers

You know that you can adjust the reach on SRAM levers?
8)
will pop onto sram's web site and see how.
very reluctant to touch and risk breaking at the moment!

Don't mess with it, take back to the shop and ask them to adjust it for you
Glad you're happy

you cant break anything adjusting sram levers.0

It's a bit fiddly but you can adjust them in a couple of minutes. Make sure you do the gear paddles first (that's the tricky bit) and then just tighten the brake levers down with a 3mm allen key (the easy bit!).0

There's a guide here for adjusting the reach on Red, but it will be the same on yours.
