South Downs Way in a day

I'm thinking of doing the SDW in a day to avoid the need for camping/staying a night. Has anyone done this and if so, do you have any tips?

    Hi there. I'm doing the south downs way in a day thing with with the British Heart foundation charity on June 26th.I've never done it before so thought it would be a good idea to do it with a bit of back up. Should be pretty challenging !!
