Builth Wells CRC Marathon - Trail Conditions

I'm off out on the CRC marathon at Builth Wells this weekend.

What are the riding/ground conditions like down that way?

Is it mud tyre (Bonty Mud X) kinda territory or will Nobby Ncs be ok?

    It has been quite wet last week, and previously a fair bit of snow melt; generally still soft and muddy around here (10 miles from Builth) but is drying out with wind and sun now.
    However having ridden a lot in last few weeks on the areas involved I would still keep mud tyres as soft and peaty in places.
