Rockshox rebound adjuster not working

Hi, I have RS Reba SL 09, with poploc. After starting to read articles on how to set up your fork.... etc, I have come to adjust the rebound with the adjuster and it won't turn. I don't whether this has any relation to the reason why there doesn't seem to be as much travel as thee should be.

I haven't changed the fork in anyway ie adjust settings apart from the air pressures.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

rebound has nothing to with travel at all.

some times they do get stuck at the extremes. either force it the opposite way if you know which way it is stuck at or send it off for service.
