Solo clothing, from Mosquito or Always Riding. Fits well, packs down to a reasonable size. Very happy with it.

Shutt VR one looks top, gets good reviews, plus can't knock the price.

I just bought a Mavic Echelon. Its a great fit and only £40. The Shutt VR one looks a little flappy to me.

Very pleased with my Pearl Izumi gilet. Not sure it will pack down small enough for the back pocket, but perfect for chilly spring rides.

I have one of these. Its very smart, very windproof and waterproof in the non mesh areas. It's mae in Britain and packs up small as well. For £39 or so it's a bargain.

I have a medium sized Altura Reflex that I'm happy to sell if the sizing works for you. It's too big for me and only been worn 2 or 3 times in 2 years - I just use my Gore Phantom as the sleeves come off that. PM me if interested.

another vote for the Shutt - I have one and its good. Stuffs away easily in a back pocket.

    +1 for the Pearl Izumi.

Had mine for a year now, love it. Comfortable, lightweight and more importantly, keeps you warm and dry.

    Mavic gear is excellent.

If you are a size S, snap up the descente one at PBK for £15

I have got a Shutt one and think its great. Packs up quite small and have worn it in showers and on cold days and it performed very well. I got a medium which I normally am and there are no flappy bits. At £39 its a bit of a bargin for a quality piece of kit, and its British....

I have the Altura Reflex, great gillet, but it's not waterproof and doesn't claim to be.
It will keep a shower away, but any prolonged rain and any gillet will be limited.

Lusso gilet does the job perfectly well - and only about £20...
