looking to buy a road bike, as said no more then £500

women specific would be ideal,
5'3'',
the bike will be used for fitness, long distance riding. 2nd hand not a problem.

any good suggestions?

A good 2nd hand may give you the best value. There's a Specialized Allez Comp on eBay at the moment that may fit the bill - depending on what price it finally goes for.
