Can anyone suggest the best puncture free tyres for my Trek 1.2 Compact.
Existing BONTRAGER SELECT have been fine up to now, but getting a little tired of regular punctures!!!!

Continental ultra Gatorskins are often touted as awesome bomb proof for commuting/wet conditions. Ill be getting a pair later this month.
There is a deal at wiggle where you get a pair of gatorskins and the conti inners to go with them for £40sih quid. prices depend on how much you spend with them regularly. I bought my bike from them so im a platinum member (I feel so special) and as a result get 12.5% discount on everything for a year.0 -

+1 Gatorskins. I've had no punctures in the two years I've been using them. Schwalbe Durano Plus are another possibility.0

I've been running Schwalbe Stelvios on my Pinarello for the last couple of years without any problems at all.
Even managed to get through last years Etape Caledonia carpet tack incident unscathed.0 -

I liked the GP4000s, but didn't find them very tough - punctured three times in ~500 miles over autumn/winter, every time on the gravel that litters the country lanes round where I am. Switched to Gatorskins and they've been puncture-free so far (~800 miles) so seem good to me.0 -
Any tyre that's really expensive is probably fine. GP400, pro race 3s, Vittoria rubinos etc.
Apart from bontranger stuff obviously.0 -

Conti GP 4 season - I get a puncture about every 1000 miles which I don't think is too bad for my winter/commuting bike - and it's usually a slow puncture where a thorn or glass has worked its way through.0

my stelvios done 1500miles this winter and no leaks yet. im not heavy or light.0

another +1 for gator skins.
Had my first puncture in a year and it was the seat of the valve that had gone :shock:JOGLE Cube Aree GTC Pro -DONE

The disadvantages are that there difficult to get on the rim, they cost £24.99 and i`ve only seen them at Evans Cycles.
My Previous tyres were Gator Skins and they punctured twice in 600miles.0
