Just to let everyone know this year's Yorkshire 10m TT Champs are on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May, so there are still a couple of weeks to get your entries in.
If you've not ridden them before I'm sure a few of the 'regulars' on this forum can vouch for what a good event it is. There are loads of categories to win prizes in, including a new Vets 45+ category. Winner of each category gets a Yorkshire Champs jersey along with a specially commissioned Gold medal, with silver and bronze medals for the runners-up. There are also gold, silver and bronze medals for the three fastest teams of three (from all categories).
To be eligible for the Champs, you need to be a 1st claim member of a Yorks DC club OR live in one of the counties of Yorkshire (so that includes North, South, East and West). I'll also accept entries from ex-pat Yorkshire folk! If you send a copy of your birth certificate with your entry - your in!
Some of the categories in the past have had low entries, especially Tandems, Women and Juniors, so if you get your entry in you stand a good chance of a medal.
Categories are: Men, Women, Women Vet (50+), Juniors, Vet 45+, Vet 50+, Vet 55+, Vet 60+, Vet 65+ and Vet 70+. There's also a Tandem category.
And as is customary for the Yorkshire Champs, we have a very special signed jersey to raffle. Signed by the two Chris's. Chris Boardman and Sir Chris Hoy
PM me for entry details.
