Do they make a big difference? Doing a 3 up 50km TT and was thinking about getting some? Any suggestions as to which model?
Thanks.
Thanks.

In my experience - about an extra 1 or 2mph when you use them for the same effort.
Dont know if a 3 up ttt is the place to try them for the first time though !0 -
nah, ill give them a quick try before the race. In the car park 20 mins before the race?0

If thats the Antelope 3up ill be there to laugh as you wipe your team mates out
but yes they are a lot quicker0 -
makes a massive difference
get a dedicated TT bike though, dont like the bolt on types.
TT bikes are set up totally different to regular road bikes
must be set up correctly otherwise you will be very uncomfortable
must practice loads before hand
why stop with the tri bars?
get the TT bike with the bars, aero wheels, funny helmet etc then you will really fly
got two TT/tri bikes both with profile design bars, very good.
i think correct set up is more important than make and model of bars though.
brilliant well reviewed, very expensive bars will be a nightmare to ride if set up poorly and vice versa0 -
My clubmate did his first club 10TT last week and clocked a very respectable 27'52" in windy conditions on his bog standard Allez. This morning in similar conditions but with a set of clip on Token TT bars he clocked 26'54". Work it out for yourself.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

I tried aero bars once. I prefer Dairy Milk though.
