sending PMs help !

Any Pms i try to send go to my outbox but not my sent box so i have no idea if they have been sent. Does not look like it as i sent one to admin a while back and got no reply and it was still sitting in my outbox weeks later .?

PM's stay in the outbox until the recipient reads them at which point they are moved to the sent box.
