    hello
    was there yesterday
no its not too bad mud wise but be prepared to loose half a disk pad and shortern your chainsets life span
the sand there is horrible at the moment due to it being so wet it just drinds all the way round
  • Oooops - too late
Definate mud x conditions! I've just got back, rode the red route Friday and conditions were really good - today though it was very muddy, great fun all the same, and funnily enough I was only 5 mins slower than on Friday. I reckon new pads are probably in order now

cool. how long it take you?
iv done it serveral times not but never timed it as always took lots of brakes at checkpoints and spend half time talking
  • I did it in 2.44 today, being on my own I didn't hang about or have any stops. Brakes were still working ok - but not sounding too healthy!

Dalby eats brake pads for breakfast!!! I went through a new (bedded in) set of sintered in ONE sitting doing the full red in wet conditions! All I can say is thank god for cheap pads!!
