South-North Wales offroad route?

I might be imagining it, but I am pretty sure I remember reading an article somewhere about a proper MTB route running the length of Wales, and if I'm not mistaken, they did it North-South.

I'm really intrigued by the idea of doing it the other way, starting somewhere near Cardiff/Newport, but can't seem to find the route anywhere - anyone know any more about it or even remember what mag it was in?

    i don't know it but you could try and check out the trans wales website. i'm not sure how far over wales they do though :D
