Seems to be a weekend where I have realised/learnt a few things:

1. My Middle Son and My daughter are like Cat and Dog - I can't fix it.

2. There are some bloody nice people out there that can at the drop of a hat restore your faith in humanity

3. Replacing fluids after a hot ride with a frozen coffee drink is not a great idea..... :(

4. My pug can't swim.

5. I am losing touch with the yoof.....what does pwnage mean?

Anyone else have a weekend of being schooled?

  • Every day is a lesson. Never stop learning, there's always something new.

    pwnage? see http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pwnage
There's no such thing as too old.

I learnt that my 8 year old nephew is at times going on 18. He doesn't want a girl in his class to be his girlfriend "because she's chubby and hard work." Outrageous, but I nearly fell off my bike laughing.

  • Hi Pneumatic, yeah, watched that series, very funny.

Frank, I'll have a look for that song.....

DAG, thanks for the Link, now I understand why my son shouted it at me after he had collected a pile of leaves and branches and dropped them on my head whilst I was catching some rays in the park with my eyes shut.....and he kept shouting it whilst he ran away and I couldnt catch him.....
