Downloading Music

Now, I'm not a technophobe, but I really have never downloaded music....

What's the best way to download music legally and put it on your mp3 for a great ride.

I'm prepared to pay but like value for money.

    If you have an iPod and use iTunes then the iTunes Store and Amazon work. If you only use mp3 then Amazon is great.

    Of course there are torrents, but......................you did say legal. 8)

    Torrents can be risky, not just due to copyright problems but also a lot of files aren't always what they claim to be; they can also contain malicious software that will bumlove your PC.

    If you like dance music, as in Euro and trance try some free mixes by DJ Doboy. I find them really nice to listen to and they won't get you slapped by record companies. I like the Eurojams.

    I'm surprised you're happy to go out riding with music in your ears, surely it's a bit risky. I tried it once and couldn't hear traffic behind me very well.

    You could also rip tracks from your fave cd's and save them as mp3's to load onto your player. :D
