Disk Brakes

I'm after getting a new front brake for my Marin Pallisades, to replace the Hayes Sole that I mullahed during (incompetent) maintenance.
I was considering buying one on eBay that looked fine, but it was for a 185mm rotor, and mine is a 160. Is the caliper different, or does it just mount in a different place to allow for the different size rotor? Can I buy the 185 one, or do I have to specifically look for a 160?

You use an adaptor. It may come with the right one already.
What mounts do you have on your fork (IS or POST), what is your brake mount, and what is it on the brake in question?0 -
IS mounts
It's Hayes Sole brakes0
