this was my trusty steed for the last 20 years.
Pics:
but the wife decided my recent big birthday was a good excuse to get me a new ride
i have taken off the bright red zzyzx clipless pedals and slipped on some shimano M540's
put on a set of bonty stubby bar ends and a strada wireless comp - i felt the need to know i'm going too slow
just added a set of "pimp stylee" guards for the wet stuff but intend to use the quick release aspect in dry weather as i prefer the look of her as naked as poss.
compared to the old girl she's a dream to ride. planning on inverting the stem (as i feel i'm a siiting duck) and swap the back brake to my right hand. next purchase will be a bike carrier for the car so i can get out and about and tryout some dirty stuff with her in the country
