Just watched the film - The Flying Scotsman.
Both Graeme and Chris Boardman were my idols back in the day and I always thought that Greame was hard done by.
Never knew this film existed but I accidentally stumbled across it the other day, so Sky+'d it.
Brilliant film about a brilliant man even through his troubles. Film doesn't go into life after he won back the World Champ, life continued a big rollercoaster for him.
I know he still rides and sometimes even races still, a great rider who deserved more.
Maybe he even reads these forums, who knows.......
If anyone gets the chance to watch the film, watch it, it's an eye opener.
For those are too young to know who he is, to sum it up, he built his own bike (old faithful) including washing machine bearings in the bottom bracket and adopted an unusual riding position.

That film was a real eye opener for me as there a lot of misconceptions about him. He really is an inspirational guy and should be recognised as such. He is also form the same town as me so it was a bit of a novelty to see my local pub in a film!0

Reminds me of the time him, Lance and I went for a cycle round Paisley.
