Hi Guys

I'm looking for a trail centre somewhere between N wales and Cornwall (so not far off the M56, M6 or M5) to do tomorrow on my way home. Cannock Chase seems liketh obvious one but the website says alot of it is closed...Is this still the case (it has not been updated for two weeks) and if so how much does it affect the trail? Are the closed bits the best bits or the rubbish bits?

Cheers
DaveK

It's got to the point where it is completely saturated and in places it's just a trail of muddy paste through the trees. Still rideable but not much fun IMO.
  • it is muddy but it's a better class of mud than i get in warwickshire.

I'd give it a go - but with so many people on holiday it might be a bit congested.

Best hope for bad weather to keep them at home.

I went down today. The trails were fine. A fair few puddles but they drain pretty well and to be fair I had a cracking time.
