SRAM powerlink

Just a quick question,

are SRAM powerlinks compatible with all chains? i'm thinking of getting one for my basic Shimano HG-53 chain so i can clean it more often.

    as long as you get the correct version.

    Shimano do their own as well.

    yep SRAM links work fine with shimano chains - as long as they're the same type e.g. 9 speed - the gold ones are for 9 speed chains. I never leave home without one!
