How bout Lycra Legs and Hairy Shorts?

    Who gives a crap?

Wear what you want, and don't worry bout the "SS", Shaved Skinnies...

I had a guy turn up for a ride, Assos everything, nice Bianchi etc.

Couldn't ride for toffee, or descend if you pushed him off a cliff !

Ride yer bike, wear what you want, enjoy yourself. End of...

I'm fine with that, but I want the comfort and security of proper padded undercrackers.

Are there any decent ones to go with real shorts?

Now I'm worried about not knowing what I want or how to enjoy myself.

I'm hoping to copy the Reynolds Composites Studio RZR 46T wheels reviewed and that my leg hairs will produce an 'added micro-region of turbulence said to help the rejoining of the air that was split by the leg while also improving handling in crosswinds, too'.

I get lycra undershorts from Decathlon for like 4euros and then wear them under baggs shorts. That way I look 8) while still being padded and "held" in place

Or you could get some padded undershorts and just wear whatever baggies over the top like, well, pretty much everyone does.

But the Hummvee's are good, I got some today ;)

    This!

You don't need special shorts to wear under baggies.

Nothing wrong with it. As always, you will get some people not comfortable enough with their sexuality to shave or wear lycra.. I'm comfortable enough to wear lycra, I just can't be bothered to shave.

I've always wondered about the opposite, shaved legs and baggies. Pulled it off a few times, but feels a bit odd. :D

Why the fook would you want to shave your legs, the stubble irritation when it grows back must be ridiculous.

Its not that bad really, but you do have to shave like every 3-5 days or so, depending on how quickly your hair grows. Otherwise you do get stubble, and it looks a bit dumb.

Whereas having shaved legs doesn't look dumb at all?

Not that I can talk, I have a patch of skin on the shin where the hair isn't growing back after a nasty off at dalby last summer

I hate velcroing myself to my bed sheets and clothes.
  • Funny that some people talk as if shaved legs were normal & if you don't then you can't be comfortable with your sexuality! I've never shaved my legs because I can't think of a single reason to! Seems that although there's lot's of perceived 'reasons' why pros do it, some of which make sense for road racing, the main reason is because some people like it!
Shave if you want to. I have enough trouble remembering to shave my face more than once a week!

I wear lycra short, don't shave my legs but shave my bollocks, where does that leave.

In the wrong forum I expect :-)
