Intense Tracer Stolen - Forest of Dean (Monmouth)

Hi guys,
Sadly, my treasured Intense was nicked off the back of my rack as I dropped a friend off in Monmouth a couple of hours ago
We called the police within 10 minutes of it being stolen, and on the way to the house they saw some chav sitting on it in a park, but he got away :x
Anyways, I was wondering what the situation is with insurance - if a bike on a rack is covered, and if it's covered to such a value?
Gutted, but I have to remind myself it's just a bike (though a much loved one)
