165mm cranks
Do Campagnolo make them?
Where can I buy cranks without the chainrings? Perhaps I am blind, but they all seem to come with chainrings attatched. I already have a lot of spare rings.
I'm running a compact setup - 110 BCD.
Can anyone recommend some 165mm cranks which are not SRAM/Shitmano*? I have a couple of 165mm track cranks. Is it possible to get these to work somehow?
*Current project i'm building up is 100% Campagnolo at the moment. These would be highly inappropriate.

AFAIK Campagnolo do not produce a 165mm road crank. I've fitted double chainrings to a track crank, but obviously you'll need to fit a longer BB to correct the chainline for a double. In terms of other cranks, I know FSA do 165s and if looking for a European make, there's always TA. - try dotbikeMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

V good value...
Ive now switched to 160mm cranks...(just to see..)
Dave.
P.S. I emailed Campagnolo to tell them how dissapointed I was with them for
not making a 165mm crank...0 -
TA do the Vega and the Carmina in 165 (and below)
and you can buy the arms, speiders and rings separately
they fit all sorts of spiders too - double, compact, triple, 4-bolt, 5-bolt
see http://www.dotbike.com/ProductsP1683.as ... aign%3dDFRFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
Excellent!
I'm looking at the TA Carmina cranks and it says:Requires C.N.C spider/lockring (not supplied with cranks)
What does this reffer to and where would I get this?0
