Kilimanjaro ride

Hi all, anyone here ridden it? Or, anyone here know the legalities in terms of access. I don't want any guides or porters, I want to do it solo.

    I was up kili last summer and according to my guide it has been biked before but chances are wont be allowed again. (unless you have megabucks for permits and maybe a full camera crew and good reason) Also i think because of the park authority rules you have to have a guide and portes as law!
