    Its finished! All bar the chain needs a replacement link as it managed to damage it during riviting. Otherwise its sweet.

    I like the colour scheme very much.Proven quality Ritchey gear never disapoints.
    The stem looks a strange angle but if it feels right thats all that matters.
    You need to add a spec sheet of the build.
    Also NapD won`t give you a badge as its not presented correctly in the pictures :D

    In regards to the stem I was not aware that the angle was going to be the angle it is.
    Basically I ordered the wrong one but actually it does fit me well.

    Problem with stems is you cant try them all without buying them so this was a calcualted guess with the surprise of the angle.

    The frame is a 56 where as my old frame is a 58. It comes up quite big though.

    isnt that a standard 6 degree stem. turn it over and it will be level.

    got the eastons on my bianchi with conti 4000,s. tyres go on no problem

    Whilst it looks better when the stem doesn't stick up like that, it needs to fit right and that is more important!

    Yeah like i mentioned in my first post,if the stem feels right leave it.turning it over may give you lower back pain.Key word being "may".

    Flipped the stem whilst watching Paris Roubaix. I have to confess that my simple mind did not accept that if I fipped it the stem it would look 'normal'. I believed it would be angled down. anyway lesson learned

    In regards to body position, the handlebars on my old Allez elite 58 frame were significantly lower than the BMC, even thought the BMC is a 56. By flipping the stem (which I must have measured wrong as it is longer than the allez) it is slight longer but I intend to Race the bike in Crits so comfort is not too much of a issue than using it for sportives. We shall see how it goes. When I road it yesterday the handlebars felt rather high anyway so all should be well.

    I stand by my statement about easton sl50s. Me and the mechanic at my lbs wrestled for 20 mins to get the tire on

    I see you've got a workstand like mine - the Lifeline Spindoctor from Wiggle if I'm not mistaken?

    Take care with your pride and joy bike. I've broken two of those workstands, the second time leaving the bike permanently attached to the jaw :shock:

    +2 i have my stem pointing up as well. i just pointed out that it could be flipped if he needed, he didnt seem to know.
