New Frenchman on The Shack ??

During all the Criterium International excitement yesterday I heard Carlton Kirby give a quick mention to a Shack rider called Christophe Hornier. The name sort of rings a bell with me. Was it his father or his uncle who was known as Le Petit Jaques Hornier ?? He had an undistinguished career but was, I think, known for sitting down in a cornier !!
