My dmr exalt in the middle of building atm. Got some parts off my old 24/7 but still alot yet to buy.

Domain 318 160mm
24/7 Bars and Stem
24/7 superfat cranks and chain ring (to go on)
24/7 rear wheel
Spin doc hub and combat rim front wheel

Fsa pig headset
Dmr wingbars
Raceface diablous grips
New stem
New chainring (dmr)
Halo choirmaster tires
Dmr v8 pedals
Sram x7/x9 shifter and R mech
Avid juicy 5/7 front and rear discs
9 speed cassette

    sounds like a good plan. so are you usng it for freeride?
    if it was me, i wouldn't get juicy brakes - i have juicy 3's and haven't had a good experience with them, and most other people don't like them. if i were you i'd get avid elixirs with 203/185 rotors front and rear. a set of elixir 5's is £135, elixir's are pretty much the same but more adjusment- they are £160

    The avids are the only brakes im really keen on tbh, dont like the look of any others lol.
    Well wanting to do abit of downhill, etc but mainly using for a runabout and going out on it with the mrs. I did have a nice jump setup sidekick but it got robbed and thats what made me go for another dmr but wanting something abit more hardcore, i may look at building a full sus after this too but most of my money gets spent on my car.

    Im building it along thses sort of line as this is a awesome bike.

    Do you think the spec i am wanting would be a good setup? What do you think to the forks i have?

    you forks will be fine. as james said get yourself some avid elixir 5s. they are bloody good. i am very impressed with mine

    Im going to run it on single speed for abit at first unless get gearing setup with everything else at same time as hoping to get it finished next month as ordering seat, headset, rear brake, front tire, grips, chain and maybe a few other bits this week :)

    instead of the dmr?
    also consider specilaized demo. you can get a used frame for under £500 off pinkbike

    Matching rear hub but may swap to white rims

    Have just bought a x9 shifter on pinkbike.
    Should be getting a x9 r mech too, deore cassette. Now going to order my headset, chain.

    Ordered myself a fsa dh pig pro headset new.
    maybe getting a saint brake also and cassette.

    The parts ive bought so far, cant wait to get fitted and will be nearly finished-

    azonic pyramid double wall bars
    FSA pig pro dh headset
    Dmr seat post and clamp
    Halo knobbler front tire
    X9 shifter
    X9 r mech
    Deore cassette
    Kmc chain
    Saint brake but needs hose and mount (for rear)
    juicy 5 front brake

    Just need-
    Seat
    Front inner tube
    Rear halo knobbler
    May swap saint rear for juicy 5
    Azonic stem
    Chain guide
