Hi there,
I got into Road cycling last year when i signed up to ride from London to Paris.
I didn't have a bike so i bought the cheapest i could get at the time, a Vitus Razor, this bike has not let me down in the slightest....however there is a bike to work scheme starting at work and i have £2000 to spend !!!!!
From the bikes available i have got it down to these beauties
Bianchi B4P Mono Q Carbon 105
Lapierre Sensium 100 2010
Felt Z5 2010
Cannondale Synapse Carbon 2010
I have looked at the specs and they seem pretty similar, so i wonder if you can help me find that extra something that will make one of these stand out....
Any advice is very much appreciated
Thanks
Mike

Pinarello FP2 would be high on my list

that paint job is a bit dissapointing for pinarello though
Colnago CLX is another nice bike - but the prices have gone up this year - there are a few of last years knocking about:-

or Orbea orca - this one at £1999 at epic

Recently C+ Did an article on the best £2500 road bikes - Have a read of that for some ideas0 -
How come your cycle to work scheme gets you £2000 to spend and not the usual £1000 that the government actually allows?? :?0

no way, then he'd just charge it to his expenses and we'd pay for it0

It's only limited to £1000 if the company you work for doesn't have a Consumer Credit Licence. If they do then they can set any limit they want.0 -

I wanted FP2, but they are not doing Pinarello on the scheme0

We get £2000, for exactly that reason..... I'm a MP...... Not really it's the consumer thing, it was £1200 two years ago0
