Bl00dy Token bb..

Left side bearing on my FSA bb was frozen solid, it turned out (which means that for some time I've been riding with the spindle only turning within the plastic bearing shield...).
Bought a Token replacement bb from LBS - tried to fit it today and the inside dia of the cups is fractionally smaller (23.92mm compared to 23.99 by my measurement) than my FSA, with the result that in trying to get the crank spindle through, the left side bearing got pushed out. Grr.
I have a press at school, I'll get it back in tomorrow but still. Aargh.
Also - can anyone recommend a bb removal tool that doesn't chew up the alloy of the cups when fitting?

The Park Tools one which completely covers the bottom bracket think it's the BBT-19. This doesn't mangle it too much but you still have to be super smooth when you tighten/loosen the cups. I tried a replacement token bottom bracket, had exactly the same problem, didnt fit made of butter.0

Thanks, I'll get a Park Tool socket. And it was only my own stupid Friday night 'instant gratification' that sent me to my LBS instead of ordering a decent replacement online - won't make that mistake again!Litespeed Tuscany, Hope/Open Pro, Ultegra, pulling an Extrawheel trailer, often as not.
