Forks?

Ok, my Big Hit was stolen and I have no money. All I have is a Saracen D-toxx with extra gussetts and welding. It's surprisingly strong so don't comment saying 'save up for a better bike'. I'm 15 so it will take a while to save up for a Big Hit again!
Anyway, I'm using it for downhill (yes, it is actually suitable for it!) and it's a six inch travel bike. I'd prefer to go for dual crown forks, but should I use dual crown forks or single crown, and what inch travel forks should I use?
I basically need a fork that wont mess up the geometry and that can be used for downhill. Remember I have f**k all money so it must be cheap/second hand.
Thanks, Milo.

I have Dtox! What year is yours?
Is a tough, but heavy frame. Would not put Dual Crowns on it, nor go over 140mm travel.0 -
Big Hit not covered under insurance then?
Don't put Dual-crowns on there, it'll look bIoody stupid and ruin the bike.0 -
unlucky mate. what spec is the d tox? if it has a decent spec i would be tempted to persuade you parents to buy you a frame and forks. if not get some single crown forks. you will probably break the frame with dual crowns and then you will have nothing to ride0

Unlucky about the big hit. I am 14 and am always woried about my bike being nicked because I know it will take for ever to get a new one
Possibly take a look at the likes of Fox vanilla's or Rock Shox Revelation.
They are not DH forks but are really tough0 -
have a look at last years fox 32 vanillas or revoulation both at 140mm and both pretty much bombproofmongoose amasa elite 08
