Looking to replace my Dura Ace FC7700 chainset for a compact and wondering if there are any problems with using either a Sram or Campag 10 speed chainset on a Shimano 9 speed system.

    Should be fine as far as I know. Someone else will doubtless confirm this.

    Use any make of chainset you want, they will all work.

    Would stick with a compact Dura Ace one personally. You won't get a better one from SRAM or Campag.
