Just been looking at these....................what do you reckon the advantage is......if any???

  • It's just a weight saving over the regular Max, so that depends whether you think that price/weight is justified.

    You can't adjust the tension (without changing the carbon spring) but really, how many people actually do.

    I'd say it's mostly marketing. They are just trying to justify the massive price tag.

    The 'lower end' models do the job just as well at a fraction of the cost. And are only a few grams heavier.

    If you weigh over 175lbs, I would stay away. Not to mention, they're waaay too expensive. Not sure the benifits justiy the premium cost. Just my .02
