I'm looking for a good performance everyday road bike tire (size 23C). I have a choice between either Michelin ProRace3, Continental GP400 or Vredestein Fortezza TriComp. They are all about the same prize. I'm looking for something that is quite durable, roll great and provide good traction (especially in the wet ).

I fitted some ProRace3's to the good bike last summer and they rolled very well but the rear goty one hell of a slit in it, didn't want to take a chance so have replaced with Schwalbe Stelvios. I've used fortezza tricomps in the paast and found them very good. I'd get the fortezza's over the michelins..

Sounds good ! I'd decided to go with the michelin pro race 3 just for racing. For training I would maybe go with the Michelin Krylion carbon, any comments on the performance and durability ?

    Cheers!

Krylions are great. I use them on my summer road bike, on the training wheels on the TT bike and the worn-out ones end up on the turbo. Ticks all the boxes for a reliable tyre with good durability and decent performance.
