Mark Cavendish is always quoted as the fastest man in the world, But, Usain Bolt's the fastest man in the world. So there needs to be a race organised i reckon.

100 M, 200 M, and a deciding 150 M

I reckon Bolt would take the 100 M easy, Cav would take the 200 M easy.

Where would you place your money for the 150 M though?

A track sprinter (Hoy) would beat Bolt over any of those distances - he would need less gear inches (than normal) for the 100m (to get a much faster start) - he could use his standard gearing for the 200 (and possibly 150).

    imho.

Absolutely no chance. I did a quick Google search and found a standing start 100m time for a cyclist of 9.85.

OK, that's slower than Bolt. But it was done by the winner in the All Ireland Under 12s.

(That does seem a little on the fast side for an 11 year old though)

200m record is 9.65 seconds Kévin Sireau from last year. Considering Bolt's 100m is 9.58 seconds I think Hoy could manage to beat him

Would Bolt have to jog 100K and then sprint the last 100M?
