hi i currently have a scott scale 70 with stock 'Rock Shox Dart 2' forks and am looking to replace them. ive been looking around and think im gonna settle on a pair of 'Rock Shox Reba's.
Now the problem is which one should i get? whats the differnce between the Race and Team? Also which one is better?
Also if you can think of any other forks within the price range can you let me know as i need new forks quite badly and dont want to miss out on any riding!
many thanks in advanced

Get the team, it has a much better damping circuit than the race (i think that is the right way round, you want blackbox motion control over motion control) worth the upgrade.
Although if it was me, i'd get the sids instead.0 -
Um the difference is that the team has the black box motion control damping over standard motion control damping, i'd say get the teams over the race's if you can afford them/can be bothered to spend the extra money
I had this decsion to make back in january and went for the teams and they were only £255 on ribble.0 -
Blackbox is very nice, a step up from moco for sure. But it's not so amazing that I'd want to pay a huge amount for it myself. Just depends on the price you're looking at really IMO.Uncompromising extremist0

Blackbox is great but no matter which you get you will notice a HUGE improvement to your Darts.
Although 90% of the time I would go for Fox budget allowing0 -
I would get the 2010 Rockshox SID Race forks, for around £320. They are lighter XC race forks more suited to a race frame like the Scale.Specialized Enduro SL Pro Carbon
Specialized Stumpy Evo Carbon
Canyon Aeroad Disc Di2
Specialized FSRxc - XC Race Bike0 -

The Reba's are much tougher for trail riding though.
If you are riding strictly XC then the Sid's are great but if you start mixing it up a bit with harder stuff then the Reba is much much better0
