Tubular Tyres for time trials

I'm trying to find some Bellum tubs as used by numerous Czech riders at the milky race.
I recall they really were quite the thing for banging up and down a dual carriageway on a sundi morning.

Does anyone know if Bellums are still about?
Perhaps someone has some Bellums going spare

Bloody hell I remember Bellums!

A mate of mine was in the Junior GB Cyclo-cross squad in the 80s. He did the World's in Czechoslovakia and went over with a load of Levi jeans to swap for a load of Bellums

I'm not a fan of levis but I would like a Bellum.

I'm sure Tony Butterworth's in Sheffield used to get hold of them. Might be worthwhile ringing them to see if they have any Bellums hanging around at the back of the shop.

You need to speak to Tony (you might have spoken to one of his young assistants). Tony used to deal with the 'special' stuff. He used to be able to get hold of all sorts of continental exotica. He even used to have authentic AKI japanese keirin gloves years ago.

just starting a retro build manged to get an old 531 lindzie battie frame,not sure about the old bellum tubs but i have been trying for ages to source some bal de baal cranks and brakes no luck at the moment,i used to have loads of aki socks but kept on losing them on wash day.
