Ive just picked up this beauty after a 3 month wait for delivery. Only had a quick 5 mile road blast to get things dialled in as im new to FS , always had and still have my Spesh HT.
I will post more "real" pics once i get back from work but heres the official photo.
so my first question is White or Black front Crudcatcher - I have a black one on my Spesh which i can use to see what it looks like but any suggestions on the White one any experience of it?
BTW im a very happy man as i got a great discount!

That's gorgeous, had a quick ride of one (think it may have only been 6.8) as my LBS has one on demo...was a great ride!
Did anyone else read the MBR review...what a load of drivel!...it got a not-so-great 7 because they didn't read how to set the shock up properly so it felt wrong when they first did it and somehow that was Marin's fault, then they down marked it because the suspension was too good and therefore too predictable to make it fun?? :? I know I sound like a right fanboy but that's rubbish.Santa Cruz Chameleon

Thanks for the tips on the crudcatcher guys a black one it is. And yes it does look even better in the flesh! I was also pretty bummed at the MBR review it seems the bike industry has been pushing for years to make the ultimate in trail tamming rear suspension (i.e. less bob, neutral pedalling etc etc.) Marin come up with a suspension design that one bike of the year in 07 and 08 i think then in 09/10 suddenly the same (slightly tweaked version 2.0 of the Quad link system) is too good and doesnt excite them enough? wheres the fairness in that, i would much prefer something that is predictable every time than something exciting thats gonna spit me off randomly!
Pics coming soon0 -
looks just like the one stolen from jejames!0

Very nice mate, I really like the look of the 2010 ones! Again, welcome to the club They are dreams to ride, and the quad link is a thing of beauty.
Just a quick note with the front crudcatcher, I bought white ones (F&R) for riding to work, so I stay nice and dry.. the front, I had trouble fitting on, becuase of the more 'squared' downtube.. thought it might be worth mentioning..
However, I solved that with (thanks to CWNT for this), the mucky nutz fender bender (in opaque).. amazing little bit of kit, and does more than enough to keep cr@p out of my face Good value too!

Oh, and as above, we need to see real life pics Congrats0 -
lloydrulez15 your right, ive checked the frame number and lets say only 1 digit is different....
Im sure mines legit i purchased direct through ATB sales hence the 3 month wait for delivery from US
Interesting it was large like mine which i was told were extremely rare in the UK.. based on the frame numbers and a guess that one at JEJames is number 001 and mine is number 009...0 -
Stav83 thanks for the info i will certainly try my crudcatcher from my other bike to check first before buying.
I quite like the look of the mucky nutz gonna check that out i think0 -
