A Cervelo S2, preferably with Campag Super Record groupset and matching wheels. But..... I work in a bike shop and therefore have no money. How can I get one for free???

Turn pro for the Cervelo test team? Oh, that's no good, they'll just give you an S3...0

Tried that, they didn't have one built. If they did it would be with Shimano as they come from Madison, which I have on my Giant.
I could pretend I work at Phil Corleys and ask for a demo one..... just have to suffer with Shimano Di20 -
Just buy it.
You work in a bike shop, therefore you are middle class and can afford any bike.

I want........... some 50 mm wheels.0

Which bike shop do you work at in Aylesbury?
I wonder if it's the one I'm thinking of....
Having a top spec bike is something to look forward to and aim for. Makes it all the more worthwhile working/saving for it when it finally arrives.
I still have more plans for my Tarmac SL3. Some very light clincher wheels. New lighter pedals. Lighter seatpost..I reckon I can lose another 300 odd grams and have a 13.5lb complete bike. 14.25 will do for now I suppose... :roll:0 -
Think yourself lucky....
I want 2 Enigmas, a ti AND a steel, and I dont even work in a bike shop!Your Past is Not Your Potential...0 -
The things on my wishlist.
Too much to list....
If I could, I'g have a large collection of top spec bikes, all bling'd up with the best and lightest parts..... 8)0 -
I work at Buckingham Bikes in Aylesbury.
If I could afford a bike like that I'd buy it, no hesitation! It's not the only bike on my wish list, I also want a couple of other road bikes (Storck Scenario 1.0, Van Nicholas Euros, Trek Madone 6.9) and a couple of mountain bikes (Cove Hummer, Giant Trance X SL 0). Just need to win the lottery now0 -
I'm getting a Cervelo S3 ! Nice bike.0

I find if I break the "I want.." list into components, I get them faster..
Instead of saving for the whole thing in one go, I've bought the various bits and pieces along the way. Right now I've got my eye on a particularly tasty frameset that's up for sale, which will start the whole process all over again..
Means you get the shopping fix on a more regular basis. Besides, I'm lousy at saving, and I have a house full of Things That Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time to prove it!!Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Good call. I picked up my SRAM RED grouppo today - ready for my S3 - much easier than buying the 'whole thing' and seems cheaper lol.....
Peddles, saddle, bars and stem needed now !0 -
As I recall Johnny Cash once sang a song called "One Piece at a Time", in which he described how he stole a whole Cadillac over a period of years while working at the factory that made them.
