Hello all its me again !
I just brought my self some custom rims from CRC
XT hubs, Mavic EN521 disk rims and DT Swiss DB spokes
I am very pleased with them, they look ace But like a nob i think i have ordered the wrong rim tape  i have got some 22mm stuff witch look to me a bit to wide so would 19mm do the trick or i am just worryed over nothing ??
And my seccond question is what lubes do you lot use as i am not best pleased with the stuff i have ATM so if anyone could recommend me some it would be much appreciated
Thanks Again
Laurence

personaly for lube i use a home made brew that works better than anything else iv ever tried, its super clean, super long lasting, and a bit goes a long way, and it is totaly water proof, i really, really like it!
however this isnt publicly available.... although if people want i may start mixing it up for sale at £3 a bottle....
as for "normal" products, i would say it depends on the conditions, but for wet, soggy british weather finish linbe wet is good, as is TF2 extreme wet. Purple extreme is also suposed to be amazing.. but i have no personal experianceI like bikes and stuff0 -
can you post a pic of it? i have the en321 rims and the reccomendation is 23mm rim tape so i got the 22mm rim tape0

Hi Laurence,
Mavic's webby states 20mm rim tape for the EN521 Here so I'd say that you need either the 20mm if you can find it or some 19mm, I've just bought some Velox rim cloth for my new Mavic XM719s from CRC Here and if you use the link in my sig you'll get 4% back from all CRC sales (2% for bikes).
