Has anyone used superstar pads for their Formula oro's? Ive used them on Hayes brakes and had no problems.

Yes used sintered, resin and kevlar in Formula K18s in my opinion the sintered are the best all round padFig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

Did they fit alright? heard some non original pads need a bit of a bodge to get them to fit.0

Just fitted a set of kelvar's to my k18's
The rear bedded in fine but the front is taking some work. Still not perfect but it was very muddy and wet so not ideal.
If it gets as good as the rear the front will be great0 -

Fitted Superstar pads in several different types of brakes Shimano XT, Hope Mini, Avid Juicy 5, Avid Elixir, Magura julie, Hayes Stroker Ryde and Formula K18 and never had a problem getting the pads in. Apart from the Juicy pads which needed a wiggle and a good firm push with a screwdriver. However even the original Avid pads can be a swine to fit in Juicy calipers.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
I've seen a few complaints about fit lately but I think every one was with Avids. Love them in my XTs and Tektros, will be getting them for my Oros too once I need pads for them.Uncompromising extremist0
