Bacon and cheese? Good combo!
-10 points for presentation though.0 -
Its way better if you use Mozzarella. Drizzle olive oil over at the end as well, and use some Italian herb mix over the passata.<hr noshade size="1"><font color="purple"><center><i><b><font size="2"><font face="Times New Roman"> "Boggis and Bunce and Bean. Did you make the dough from scratch? If so, that's earnt you some extra points.
I'd say a little rounder would have been good, lost a point or two there.
Some herbs would have been good, lost some there too.
And the ultimate combo, is cheese, then bacon, then more cheese. It's the only way.
6.5/10 Good effort, but keep concentrating next time.
[/teacher mode]It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Sadly, my dough recipe is in "cups". Still works well though
Also depends how much you want to make and how thick it needs to be.
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp castor sugar (or clear honey)
1/2 tsp salt
1tsp sunflower oil
1 1/2 cup of strong white bread flour
3/4 tsp Fast Acting yeast
kneading it is the worst bit, takes forever (unless like me you have a bread maker you can use).
For the Passata, I just use a tin of tomatoes with garlic and herbs from Tesco ( ), a little tomato puree, some tomato sauce and a drop of clear honey.0 -
Did you make the dough completely from scratch?
Did you make a proper pizzaiola sauce (tomato base)?
Why did you use bacon?
Where's the oregano?
Where's the chillies?
Apart from that, good effort. 6/10.0 -

Yes, dough was made using recipe above your post

Sort of, see post above yours
Why did you use bacon?
because it's nice and it's just about the only thing in the house that yould go with pizza
Where's the oregano?
In the passata / pizziola sauce stuff
Where's the chillies?

I upgrade you to 7/10 then...!
For the best ever tomato sauce, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil until it's smoking (very hot), chuck a crushed clove of garlic and dried oregano in, quickly chunk in a tin of chopped toms (before the garlic burns) and keep on a fierce heat and stir regularly for around 8 mins or until it's "glossy" - absolutely lush and also good with pasta.0 -
i'll give you 7/10 too. bacon fail gets you marked down tho. pizza dough got you upped.0
