Another Fork Thread - Rock Shox Tora 318 Poploc or alternati

Hi all, I've currently got an SR Suntour Radion DA 120mm fork on my Marin which I'd like to upgrade to something better and with lock out.
I've seen the Rock Shox Tora 318 Poploc for 230 at CRC. Is there anything else I should consider as well for around the same price? Any specific deals on anyway for last years models or anything? I've had a look around but nothing jumps out at me!
Thanks in advance,

edit: fwiw I've just taken the raidon off my bike and it weighs 5.3lbs or 2.4kg

It is a good fork the 318, but seems to have jumped a bit in price recently. Not far off the price of a Reba or some Revelations.
This is a better price:

I wouldn't bother with poploc, as the non adjustable poploc on these models limits the compression damping adjustment.0 -
Thanks. I found it for 179.99 including shipping at

Is there anything else I should consider, maybe something a bit lighter? Or is this the one to go for?
Thanks again0 -
You'd have to up the budget to get the same quality of fork that is lighter.
Still, half a pound lighter than the SR, much more adjustable, and probably tougher and stiffer!0 -
Is the extra 100quid for the Rev Races worth it do you think? or, is the 318 a worthy upgrade?
edit: picked up the 318 for 180, seemed like a good price and I'm too fat to be worrying too much about the weight of my fork0
