Want to cannibalise a Specialised Crossroads Sport 2005 to equip a steel frame I can use for touring.
This commuter bike is a little to brittle and unforgiving over a longer day or twos tours
Can't afford a new bike, but could afford a frame
Is this a good idea/comprimise?

it's an idea, check everything will fit though, seatpost, front mech and headset are likely pains.0
