Newb to road bikes

Hi all,

I'm looking at the BMC Road Racer SL01 2009 Road Bike mostly because of the looks.

Can anyone offer any advise? I know the CAAD9 is meant to be a fantastic bike but i just don't like the looks :/

    general road riding from village to village of a weekend really. i'm doing far too many miles on my MTB.
