anyone got an FP3 or an Ifinito? I am in the market for a new road bike and have sort of narrowed it down to one of these, would love to hear some feed back from existing owners

Thanks

Rich

Sounds shallow but I'd just go for the one you prefer the look of!

At that price there's not much, if any, difference in performance...

What feels best when you ride it in the price range?

Great bike. One thing for me is it is starting to feel heavier than it should. Its a good ride however and looks great. No complaints from me, though I am building a Cervelo as my other bike so this will become my 'rubbish weather bike'.

    Pete.

+1. And as these look so dissimilar (one looking relatively traditional and the other looking like a hooker wearing too much make-up), I'm sure you'll have a preference there. Can't go wrong with either really.

WTF - Pinarello - no hesitation.

I thought that only applied to proper Pinarello's?

I have a 2009 FP3. Love everything about it apart from the crappy MOST saddle that it came with. Not sure about the lower spec wheels & brakes they've put on the 2010 model, though.

My mate has a Bianchi Infinito, it really is a beautiful piece of equpment. Two superb bikes.

It's a bit like being asked which one of Girls Aloud you'd shag if you had the chance. I'd take any (except the ginger one) and be very grateful.

Though, personally, I adore the curly forks on the Pinarello. And I have a penchant for cheap hookers.

You need to test ride them.

You should probably test ride the bikes too.

Just had a look at your FP3 Pete - gorgeous. Can't believe your comment on it feeling heavy - it looks like it should fly like warm doings off a shiny shovel!! What makes the ride feel heavy?

Thats the thing, I am not overly sure. I know that the bike started feeling heavier when I stuck the 50mm wheels on, as I was using the really light 1350 Dura Ace before that. My LBS weighed it for me before an 80 mile ride with the Garmin and two full bottles and it was just over 20lb. Real world weight though and happy with it. The other thing is I have shifted 23lb of body weight Since Jan and that may be a factor. I dont know.

    Thanks for the compliment!

This may sound daft, but have you checked for water in the frame?

the bianchi green paint job looks like pat butchers eye liner, plus the bianchi looks like a dirty bitch and the pinarello will only let you do it under the covers with the light off.
