Boonen testing himself again on a minor climb, having a good intensive training ride here. Cancellara had a good go earlier. Breschel, Terpstra and Leukemans looking strong and going for the win

    Jeraint?
Seems Geoffroy LeQuatre was signed by the Shack to be their top rider in every race. He's up in the front group, on his own again.

Muraveyev may have an issue with that !

Looks like Breschel's sealed it... 27 s on Leukemans, Terpstra, Chainel, 1 minute on a group of 4 with Nuyens... 10 km to go

He was hiding. In anycase who went off the front? Not that the Sporza commentators could recognise either of them.
Do you have radar from the Shack to pick up every dig?

    Breschel edging out the gap.....

if they do snap him up, will Chinny take a flyer? Flecha has looked strong today... he just sat him Boonen's wheel going up that last climb.

looks like the 3 are joining him, 5 km to go..... Still, Breschel should *normally* be by far the fastest sprinter

The tactical wheel sucking is a thing to behold.
    He's going to make it....

Better to have wheel sucked and lost, than never to have wheel sucked at all.
    Never ceases to amaze me.
    Deserved win for Saxo.

Nice bit of cunning by Cancellara though. Sit up, have a chat with the other riders, and ever so silently let a gap open so Breschel can ride away. Sneaky

    Very smart, the dummies

Did you notice that 2 of the 3 chasers got home just in front of the bunch.

Boonen is again in ridiculously good form.

Shame only Weynants & Chavanel is anywhere close in Quick-Step.

Could be a problem come de Ronde.

And Pozzato looked so strong last week, which is good for Stijn maybe.

Why is that good for Stijn?

Stjin can forget anything this year as far as I am concerned.

Lost contact with the top group again today.

Ref : RVV and Boonen again riding with a leech on his back wheel.
Stijn could be just getting the racing miles in with little ambition in Spain at the moment.
So who else is strong enough for QS in the latter stages to get away and please don't tell me the frenchman.
I personally think Boonen will want RVV this year in preference to Roubaix (another double maybe) and before a Stijn hat trick (that's the rub).
That Tom is going to have to work his own tactics against the Italian Champion and if need be in a two up sprint. (perhaps that's what he hoped for by going to Adriatico this year)
To help him RVV needs a rough day also.

I don't think there is anyone else in Q-S that can win Flanders this season. That's Boonen's problem.

Saxo bank look to have two quality riders, Breschal and Cancellara, plus Canc is a massive threat and top favourite when he's on form because he's such a huge talent.

I think this race there is no favourite that's head and shoulders above the rest, so Pozzato won't be such a wheel sucker.
