CHAIN REACTION CYCLES finance Question

Now, I imagine that i'm not the only one who has tried to get in touch with CRC via phone AND email and still failed miserably. I'm fairly annoyed they havn't bothered emailing me back about my question but oh well.
So I thought I would ask my question here! And see if any of you guys or gals can help me.
When you pay by finance through CRC, can you make voluntary payments ontop of your standing order, so you pay off the finance quicker. The shortest finance option on offer is 36 MONTHS! :? I want to pay my bill of between 3-6 months.
Has anyone done this before? Or Has anyone managed to get through to CRC, EVER???
Any help muchos appreciatos.

I don't like the V12 finance. Its very pricey.
You could probably get a better deal on a credit card with free 0% APR for 3 months if you're certain you can pay it of in time.0 -
You probably cant "topup" like a mortgage payment, but what you can do is pay the monthly amounts and at the same time save up (so you make 0.01p interest) and pay off the outstanding balance whenever.
There may be an early payment fee but it'll still end up cheaper than a full 3 years of interest as opposed to a couple of months and a £xx fee.0 -
Only used wiggle finance and they use V12, always used the "buy now pay in 12 months when you have forgotten about it"
Just stick some away each month then pay off in full, otherwaie the APR is something nasty like 30%. This is the only form of finance I will use anymore

Emailed CRC a few days ago, they sent me a chain without a power link, took a couple of days to reply but they were pretty polite when they did and the missing power link turned up a couple of days later so they do respond, albeit not quickly.
As for the finance I've used V12 through both Wiggle and CRC. Found V12 to be very professional and straight. Every time I've used them it's been buy now pay later rather than true finance. You do get stung for an 'admin' charge so it's not exactly interest free. That said V12 were very good warning me upfront about the end of the 12 months, very efficient about receiving the final payment and I got a written confirmation through quickly saying the debt had been cleared. Really didn't feel like they were hoping I'd forget and move into the interest paying period. For what you want I'd recommend that route and put the money aside until it's due. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
i keep hearing about this V12 but what is it?0

Its who manage the finance.
I would deffo say go for a credit card, there are loads better deals out there for them, rather than using finance. I was going to use the finance, but if you can make sure you pay it off, credit cards are the way forward.

Unless credit cards have changed I thought they were underwritten by the devil ?
