Derby to Bristol

Can anyone provide me with a route taking me from (roughly) derby to Bristol?

Were looking to take a mainly off-road route with obvious diversions on the roads.

Are there any trails between the two cities?

This is part of a bigger plan but is really a test to see if anything more is possible.
