    I use Royal Air gloves.

Been using them for a while and are holding up well after a few trips across the ground

Beware though that they will offerno protection against impact, only friction but all gloves have ups and downs.

The ups of these are they are super comfy, great feedback but not to much (if that makes sense) and as I said they are hard wearing.

Also I got mine for 12 quid :D

Whatever Fox or Giro you like the look of ;) I don't even bother looking at anything else now, I just get the most appropriate looking pair of Fox gloves in medium, they're all good in my experience.

Troy Lee XC gloves - can't recommend them enough.

    Can be had as I did for half the price for last years model on eBay. Bought them after my 661's fell apart (a few people on here seem to of had the same problem with 661 gloves), although at this price for a pair of 661 Comps, you can't go wrong;

Of course, that depends on what size you need, as only smaller sizes left.

If you're looking for something a bit different how about some Dainese A-Class or O'Neal Monster Energy gloves?

The A-Classes are well 'ard and the O'Neals are worth at least 5 mph.

I use Oakley Factory Plots or any Fox gloves nothing else really (currently unabomber).

Fox in a large Oakley in a medium never had a problem

If you want a bit of protection then the Alpinestars Dual gloves are great.

Used to use them before my Royals and they were really comfy and great bar feel as well.

You may ask why the swap then? Well TBH the main reason waas to get matching gloves, top and trousers/shorts
  • I've got some No-Fear "Rogue" gloves.

I got them from CRC for £10 and bought them because they were going cheap like the bird.

Actually very good gloves, nice fit, warm when you need them to be, without being sweaty, offer decent protection from stray gorse and stuff.

MUCH better than the 661 Rajis I had before.

661 Raji's if ventilation is key
661 Comp's for a little extra protection but slightly less ventilation

a dont no what size to get so could do with somewere near to me stocking them. Im from workinton cumbria near the lakes. There's few cycle shops in keswick about 25mins away but think it mite better to go to the motorbike shop seen as the mx gloves.
  • I'm using a pair of Oakley Hand Ratchets and found them great. Soft kevlar and padding over the knuckles gives you decent protection without the weight and heat of hard armored dh gloves.
I even used them paintballing, got shot in the hand and hardly had to swear at all!

I'm from Cumbria too, and there's a bike shop in Whitehaven called Braemar Bikes, on King St. It's where I got my Troy Lee XC gloves, which are excellent by the way!

Yes, Cyclewise is excellent. My seatpost clamp decided to stop working, so I enquired if they sold them. They did, but the man behind the counter said all I needed to do was add a washer to mine. I did, and problem sorted! Saved me about £20 too! :D
