Get a new bike or do up my old one?

Well, in a moment of madness I brought a Specialized P2 all mountain for about £300. It was my first bike and I didn't really know what I was getting but I had a reasonably good time on it before I upgraded to a trek fuel. But, is it worth upgrading? I've already whacked some decent brakes on that my mate gave me but it badly needs some new forks. Is it worth the money for some RS tora's? Or just I just count my losses and move on?
Any advice is much appreciated

It's a good bike, but we need to know how old it is to before we can tell you whether to keep it or not. New forks would be good- tora 318's/zochii 44s or RS recons0

It's the 2009 model. So the exact same spec as in the link. It's in fairly mint condition as it hasn't seen nearly enough use which is why I'm so keen to try and make it worth riding

I'd go for a new fork - a Tora 318 U turn would be ideal and would make a huge difference.0

Woolyhatshop have got some Rockshox coil Toras for £119.99 at the moment which seems a bit of a steal
