Peter Sagan piece
Worth trying persisting with thispiece of Sagan with a translator (unless you read Spanish of course)
Quite interesting to see the names of people who performed really well young.
We've had 3 great performances from cross riders moving to the road this year. I think it was in the RP podcast they talked about crossers being good at going very hard for a short period of time which is what we've seen with Boom, Voss and Sagan. Perhaps I'll have to stop making fun of CX folks

It'll be interesting to see what he does. The manner of his wins suggests he's capable of something special, he could climb and sprint very well plus he finished fifth in the opening prologue of Paris-Nice.
Apparently Sagan was talking to Quickstep but they rejected his demands:

He was second to Andy Fenn in the 2008 junior PR, which now looks quite the scalp for Fenn. It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.0

An 18 year old rider unproven on the road apparently asking for a decent amount of money...hardly surprising that he was turned down. Hindsight is worth very little.Contador is the Greatest0
